Havre Police Department

Officers investigated after a Second Street caller reported Tuesday at 1:29 p.m. that a vehicle had been stolen.

Officers served a warrant and arrested someone Tuesday at 2:59 p.m. at the Havre Police Department. No further information was available.

Officers arrested Adrian Joe Cochran of Harlem, 42, on a Justice or City court warrant after a Second Street caller reported a disturbance Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.

Animal Control officers investigated after someone from the Northern Montana Hospital emergency room reported Tuesday at 6:09 p.m. that someone had been bitten by a dog.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies issued a summons to Jake Deshane Phillips of Havre, 31, on the charge of dog at large after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Tuesday at 2:01 p.m. that a dog, a husky, was running around the parking lot.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to one call Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to the 1100 Block of Cleveland Avenue Tuesday at 10:39 a.m. where someone had reported a chimney fire. The source of the smoke was from an overheated chimney pipe and residents were advised to clean the chimney out. No further action was necessary.

Fire crews responded to the 10 Block of Third Street West after an alarm had been set off this morning at 4:20. The alarm was falsely activated and no further action was necessary.

Havre Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and two short-haired cats.

The animal shelter held this morning a female pit bull, a female Labrador retriever, a female akbash-Australian shepherd-mix and a male affenpinscher.
