Officers investigated after a Washington Avenue caller reported Friday at 12:09 p.m. that someone driving a vehicle without a license plate crashed into her vehicle and drove off.

Officers investigated after a Seventh Avenue caller reported Friday at 3:53 p.m a noninjury fender bender.

Officers investigated after a Havre High School caller reported Friday at 4:34 p.m. that someone had hit a vehicle and drove off.

Officers arrested Andrew David Ambler of Havre, 19, on a driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license charge Friday at 4:49 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Officers arrested Joshua Daniel Kaupang of Havre, 34, on charges of obstructing a peace officer and a pick up and hold order Friday at 7:52 p.m. on Third Avenue.

Officers arrested four people after an officer reported Friday at 9:57 p.m. that there was a possible disturbance at a Ninth Avenue business. Dwight Ray Spang of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a partner or family member assault charge; Jerome Lane Bigknife of Havre, 24, was arrested on an obstructing a peace officer charge and a Justice or City court warrant; Richard Joel Meyers of Box Elder, 28, was arrested on an obstructing a peace officer charge; and Samantha Jamie Jo Descharm of Havre, 30, was arrested on an obstructing a peace officer charge.

Officers investigated after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported Saturday at 10:10 a.m. that someone hit his parked car.

Officers arrested Haley Marie Kelm of Havre, 20, on a pick and hold order after a Smithville Road caller reported Saturday at 11:25 a.m. someone with a warrant.

Officers arrested Carleen Ann Stimson of Havre, 56, on a Justice or City court warrant Saturday at 5:06 p.m. on Second Street.

Officers arrested Ian Blaine McCarty of Havre, 38, on a criminal contempt charge in relation to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Saturday at 7:48 p.m.

Animal control officers investigated after a Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Saturday at 11:28 p.m. that a patient had been bitten by a dog.

Officers arrested Mariel Leigh Talks Different of Harlem, 25, on charges of driving under the influence, criminal mischief- vandalism and criminal trespass to property after a Ninth Avenue business caller reported Sunday at 2:20 a.m. that someone was breaking into Room 8.

Officers issued a summons to Louis J. Morsette Jr. of Havre, 18, on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal destruction of or tampering with communication device after a First Street caller requested Sunday at 11:16 a.m. assistance from officers.

Officers arrested Darrell Michael Doney of Hays, 25, on a criminal contempt charge in relation to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation Sunday at 7:23 p.m., after he failed to show for a morning test at the police department.

Officers arrested Louis Joseph Morsette Jr. of Havre, 18, on charges of obstructing a peace officer charge and a Justice or City court warrant Sunday at 9:06 p.m. on First Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated after an Eighth Street caller reported Friday at 3:10 p.m. that their property was broken into again.

Deputies arrested Anthony Daniel Nault of Box Elder, 34, on a violation of child restraint charge and a Justice or City court warrant during a motor vehicle stop Saturday at 10:45 a.m. on Main Street in Box Elder.

Deputies investigated after a Third Street Northwest, Rudyard, caller reported Saturday at 12:21 p.m. that someone was looking into shop windows.

——

Deputies served a Justice or City court warrant on Jerome Lane Bignife of Box Elder, 24, Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

——

Deputies investigated after a U.S. Highway 2 West business caller reported Saturday at 7:16 p.m. that someone was trespassing.

——

Deputies issued a summons to Lety Angel Walker of Box Elder, 23, on a possession of dangerous drugs charge Saturday at 9:48 p.m. on U.S. Highway 87.

Deputies arrested two people during a motor vehicle stop Sunday at 10:47 p.m. on First Street. Tyler Roy Lawrence of Box Elder, 24, and Autumn Lee Topsky of Box Elder, 25, were each arrested on three misdemeanor Justice or City court warrants and a felony state District Court warrant.

Havre Fire Department

Medical crews responded to one call Saturday. The fire department did not provide the log for Friday and Sunday by printing deadline this morning.

The animal shelter held this morning three medium-haired and three short-haired cats

The animal shelter held this morning a female Labrador retriever, a male Australian shepherd-border collie, a female pit bull terrier-spaniel mix, and three mixed-breed puppies — two males and one female.

A girl was born Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, to Shane Ironmaker and Billie Nelson of Havre.
