Senior Center Gift Shop — Come see what we have. We have a variety of cards and homemade gifts. We also have many beautiful pieces of glassware. Our regular hours are 9am to closing. Proceeds from the sales, at this time, will be going towards the purchase of a new steam table for our center.

Seniors, we, here at the Senior Center, are still working toward the purchase of our new steam table. Anyone donating to our cause, of course, will be able to use our tax ID number for a tax write off for your donation. We thank everyone for their help and we appreciate each and every one of you very much.

AARP aids will be preparing taxes: There are a limited number of slots available for tax preparation here at the Center. Call 265-5464 to set up an appointment to get help completing your 2017 taxes. Appointments begin Feb. 5.

Our Fall Fundraiser was very successful and we give much of the credit to our wonderful dedicated volunteers. Thank you so much to everyone who worked hard helping to setup, cleanup and to all workers and cashiers at the tables. A special thanks to Earlene for all of her extra hours and for doing a very hot job and to Gwen for organizing the fundraiser. And, of course, to all the diners who enjoyed the Indian tacos and cinnamon rolls. Also a big thank you to all those who contributed to the rummage sale. It was well-attended and very successful. After expenses, you are responsible for raising $3,076.15. We have earmarked $567.20 to the Steam Table Fund and the remaining funds will go to operate the Senior Program.

Again, thank you everyone!
