Taborsky promoted at Independence Bank

Independence Bank has announced the promotion of Tara Taborsky to internal auditor.

She joined the bank in 2016 and worked as an internal audit assistant prior to her promotion.

Before moving to Havre in 2016, Taborsky was the office manager for the Malta Irrigation District.

In her new position, Taborsky will audit several areas of the bank including operations and bank financials.

Taborsky grew up in Dillon and graduated from Beaverhead County High School. She attended the University of Montana Western, but finished her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis on small business management at Montana State University-Northern. Taborsky is pursuing her Master of Accountancy degree from Texas A&M University Commerce.

"Tara has been an excellent addition to our audit/compliance team at Independence Bank," said Denise Ladenburg, vice president of compliance. "Her knowledge of auditing, combined with her education and work experience has provided her with a solid background that will benefit our staff as well as our customers."

Tara and her husband, Mike, like to golf and travel in their free time. She also enjoys quilting and creating art in various mediums.
