Officers investigated a noninjury vehicle crash at Sixth Avenue and Sixth Street called in Tuesday at 7:27 a.m.

Officers investigated a noninjury vehicle crash at First Street and Eighth Avenue called in at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers were called to a domestic disturbance that was reported in progress on 16th Street at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers were called Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. to investigate a noninjury vehicle crash on First Street West.

Edwin Frank Converse of Havre, 62, was arrested on a charge of probation violation during a building check at a First Street establishment this morning at 12:16.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Alanna Jo Stanley of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on three Justice and City court warrants and on charges of criminal mischief, shoplifting and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a woman shoplifter running off Tuesday at 6:50 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday.

A fire crew responded to an automobile fire on the 700 Block of Second Street at 5:50 p.m. The fire was in the cab of a pickup truck. After the fire was extinguished, responders could find no cause for the fire. The vehicle is likely a total loss.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held three medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats, one medium-hair female cat, and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter held this morning a 1-year-4-month-old female Australian shepherd, a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug cross, a 6-year-1-month-old female Labrador retriever and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.
