Havre Police Department

The Havre Police Department reported that they were unable to put together a weekend log because of server problems at the department Monday morning. The weekend’s police log will be printed when it becomes available.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jacquline Colleen Chiefstick of Box Elder, 38, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Angelica Cartagena of Seattle, 26, was arrested on a State District Court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 2:58 p.m.

Kayla Lucille Hawley of Havre, 29, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting Friday at 9:35 p.m. after a caller reported a woman stole some items at a U.S. 2 Highway West Business.

A written or verbal warning was issued on Friday at 10:03 p.m. after a vehicle stop on First Street.

Shawn Joseph Saddler Sr. of Rocky Boy, 51, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a complaint behind a Box Elder First Avenue establishment Saturday at 6:14 p.m.

Deputies gave a written or verbal warning Saturday at 7:36 p.m. near Big Sandy Creek Bridge after a caller reported someone shooting a 22 under the bridge.

Chance Williams Ophus of Havre, 33, was arrested on a charge of an aggravated Driving Under the Influence after a motor vehicle stop Sunday at 12:54 a.m. on Eighth Avenue.

Suzanne Elizabeth Doney of Hays, 24, was arrested on a Justice or City Court warrant Sunday at 3:18 a.m. near Clear Creek Road after a caller reported suspicious activity.

Suzanne E. Doney of Hays, 24, was issued a summons on a charge of a traffic crime Sunday at 11:56 a.m. on Clear Creek Road.

Niko Victoriano Tepezano of Havre, 26, was issued a summons on a charge of assualt Monday at 3:51 a.m. today at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three medical calls Friday, three medical calls on Saturday, and four medical calls on Sunday.

Fire crews responded to the 600 Block of 14th Street Friday at 7:20 p.m. after a caller reported a smell of gas coming from a public building while they were out walking. Fire crews checked everything out and didn’t detect any gas in the area.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held two medium-hair cats with sex listed as “unknown,” two medium-hair female cats, three medium-hair male cats, two female short-hair cats and one female long-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 21-week-old male American Staffordshire Terrier, a 4-year-1-month-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 4-year-old female border terrier-terrier cross, a 1-year-3-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross, a 6-year-2-month old cocker spaniel, and a 16-week-old male Australian shepherd.

A boy was born May 10, 2018, to Denise Stanley and Terron Gray of Harlem.

A girl was born May 10, 2018, to Michelle and Shane Rice of Havre.
