Grief Poem - Wind and Blue Sky

Blue sky with clouds, our heart does ache, ‘Life’ doesn’t seem quite fair.

The wind does blow but we hang tight and up to Heaven we stare.

We do know this about You, Lord, You’ll ever be our song.

King of my heart, You are so good, for You, Oh, Lord, are strong.

A song, dear Lord, says that you’re King, the King who fills my heart.

We run to You when our heart aches, from us, You’ll never part.

And when night comes and it’s so dark, we know You’re holding on,

You’re never gonna let me down; come noon or night or dawn.

Some days I need a shadow, Lord, I know You’re by my side.

Life’s rough and tough when we’re alone; Your shadow’s where I’ll hide.

Some days we need wind for our ‘sails’ as we ‘cruise’ through our day.

We know that You won’t lets us down, Lord, keep us safe, we pray.

Your word, dear Lord, tells us You’re King, You watch us from above.

King of my heart, You’ll never part, and us, dear Lord, you love.

The wind does blow and flowers bloom while Bumble Bees fly low,

We miss our ‘dear’, but Lord, You’re here, You love us, that we know.

You’re our refuge[1], to Thee we sing, You are our guard, that’s true.

You’re our shelter when our heart aches; You love us through and through.

Jun-18  - Prayer Winds.

Psalm 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
