Havre pilot helping local teens take flight

Teens can learn the basics of aviation and potential career opportunities as part of the Aviation Career Education for High School set for Oct. 19 through 21 at the Havre City County Airport.

The program is sponsored by the Montana Pilot’s Association and is taught by MPA President Willie Hurd. Hurd said he has been a pilot for about 16 or 17 years now and along with being the president of the MPA is also president of the North Central Hangar of the association.
