MSU Wonderlust to offer April 18 wildlife biologist discussion in Livingston

MSU Wonderust will host a discussion with wildlife biologist Mike Vivion on April 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Livingston Park County Library. The talk, “Flights on the Wild Side: A Biologist/Pilot’s Tour of Duty in Alaska’s National Wildlife Refuge,” is a free event and open to the public.

Vivion will address his 30 years as a wildlife biologist and as a pilot assigned to Alaska’s Izembek, Kodiak and Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuges. Vivion will also cover the wildlife research projects he did in those remote areas.

The talk is hosted by MSU Wonderlust, a lifelong learning organization that is part of MSU Academic Technology and Outreach. Wonderlust presentations at the Livingston Park County Library are free and open to the public thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Livingston Park County Public Library.
