Havre Police Department

A Grant Avenue caller reported Tuesday at 7:49 a.m. that a vehicle had been broken into and a laptop taken.

A Sixth Street caller reported Tuesday at 2:57 p.m. that a car had been broken into during the night and a stereo taken.

A two-vehicle crash between a Jeep and a blazer was investigated on Bullhook Boulevard Tuesday at 3:22 p.m.

--

A caller in the Grant Avenue alley reported Tuesday at 3:28 p.m. a vehicle was broken into during the night and it looked like someone tried to take the stereo, but nothing was taken.

Clarissa Mae Messerly of Great Falls, 28, was arrested on charges of failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign, no vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, during a vehicle stop on Third Street Tuesday at 5:50 p.m.

A caller at a First Avenue organization reported Tuesday at 6:27 p.m. a watch was stolen.

--

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday in the alley of Grant Avenue.

A caller at Elks Park reported finding pink eyeglasses Tuesday at 9:12 p.m.

Isaac Alexander Chapa of Havre, 26, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a Bonine Drive caller requested help today at 1:07 a.m. from an officer.

A caller on Fourth Street reported at 5:24 a.m. today a theft from a vehicle.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 14th Street West caller reported Tuesday at 10:34 a.m. scam accounts were set up.

Aaron Michael Bishop of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday.

An arrest was made during a vehicle stop on Main Street in Box Elder at 2:33 a.m. today. No details on the charges was provided.

--

Deputies investigated a crash between a vehicle and an antelope reported at 6:03 a.m. today on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call yesterday and two today.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat and a medium-hair 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog and two male mixed-breed 22-week-old puppies.

Birth

A boy was born Monday, May 13, 2019, to Heather and Kasey Dietz of Havre.
