The Montana State University-Northern volleyball team will open the season Aug. 23-24 at the Big Sky Challenge in Butte. The Skylights open the Frontier Conference season Sept. 19 at Lewis-Clark State. Northern's home opener Sept. 25 against the University of Providence in the Armory Gymnasium. Northern is under the direction of head coach Jerry Wagner.
New Montana State University-Northern volleyball head coach Jerry Wagner knows the Frontier Conference well. And, he'll get his first taste of Frontier play in more than two decades when the Skylights begin conference play Sept. 19 in Lewistown, Idaho against Lewis-Clark State.
Northern's volleyball schedule for the 2019 season is mostly complete, including the Skylights' first three destinations.
