Artitudes features Michael in June and July

Artitudes Gallery will feature "Art on the Hi-Line" by Judy Michael from Malta from Friday through July 1.

Michael is a well-known artist in the area, painting with acrylics on paper, canvas, glass, agates, leaves and feathers. She said she loves painting wildlife, from birds and bunnies to deer and elk. 

Her paintings of old buildings and old vehicles can evoke memories of times past.

Michael is a member of the Wild Bunch and Montana Watercolor Society and shows at the Western Heritage Show in Great Falls. She has received numerous awards for her artwork.

A reception will be held Friday, June 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Artitudes Gallery on the upper level of the Atrium, 220 3rd Ave., where people can talk to Michael.
