Havre Police Department

Someone at the police station Wednesday at 8:25 a.m. reported a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Elizabeth Helene Schmautz of Havre 46, was arrested during a vehicle stop on 11th Street West Wednesday at 11:31 a.m. Charges were not listed on the dispatch log, but the jail roster lists Schmautz as being held this morning on two counts of failure to appear in court and one count of failure to pay fines, along with charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of dangerous drugs, and obstructing.

A caller on 13th Street reported Wednesday at 1:59 p.m. reported that her car was hit while at work.

Shanelle Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 26, was issued a summons on a charge of endangering the welfare of children after a caller reported that a 4-year-old child was left alone in a red Chevrolet car at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

A Wednesday 5:02 p.m. report from a First Street caller about a sign being down on the sidewalk was referred to Montana Department of Transportation.

Erica Ann Dion of Havre, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday at Sixth Street and 14th Avenue.

Derek Paul Converse of Havre, 34, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, during a vehicle stop on First Street Wednesday at 10:07 p.m.

--

Marlayna Shanelle Snow of Harlem, 27, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after an officer stopped on Third Avenue to investigate suspicious activity at 12:44 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Carlino Delvis Broncho Jr. of Box Elder, 54, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 8:34 a.m.

Curtis Pete Onco III of Havre, 46, was issued on a state District Court warrant served at the detention center Wednesday at 11:21 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday and one call in Kremlin at 6:35 a.m. today.

Firefighters responded to a 12:59 p.m. report of a gas leak on the 100 Block of Ninth Avenue. NorthWestern Energy detected a small leak and a boiler was shut down.

Firefighters responded to four calls related to high winds Wednesday afternoon. They are reported on page 1.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats and two long-hair cats, all of unknown gender, and two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 21-week-old puppy and a mixed-breed female 26-week-old puppy.
