Local 4-H leader recognized as Volunteer of the Year

Hill County is home to this year's 4-H District 2 Volunteer of the Year Award, Kodi Peterson.

"Kodi is an outstanding leader to her club, Kremlin Hawks 4-H Club," Extension Agent Jasmine Carbajal said in the nomination application. "She leads with determination, kindness and encouragement. She inspires her club members and parents to get themselves involved in their projects, as well as in county-level events. Kodi is a very approachable leader and has many of the senior members involved in herdsmanship and motivates them to continue their commitment to 4-H year after year."
