Ponies to play Glendive, again

After week one of the 2019 Eastern A football season, Livingston announced that it would be forfeiting the remainder of its season.

Needless to say, that left a hole in the Havre Blue Pony football schedule, especially its home slate.

The Ponies were set to host the Rangers Oct. 11, as part of Homecoming Week at HHS, but instead, Havre will receiver a forfeit victory over the Rangers, and play Glendive in a non-conference game that night.

Havre already played, and beat the Red Devils two weeks ago at Blue Pony Stadium, but Glendive, which also receives a forfeit from Livingston, agreed to return to Havre to fill the gap in the schedule.

Havre will now have a nine-game record this season, but will also still have a bye week.

The game between the Ponies and Red Devils will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 11 in Havre, while HHS Homecoming Week has been moved to Oct. 25.
