Hungry Bulldogs torch Lights in Dillon

Montana State University-Northern's Jett Robertson runs away from the Montana Western defense during Saturday's Frontier Conference game in Dillon. The Lights lost to the Bulldogs 59-13. The Lights come home to host the Carroll College Fighting Saints this Saturday night. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. at Blue Pony Stadium instead of the normal 1 p.m. kick time and will be a part of a big football doubleheader that day, as the Havre Blue Ponies host Lewistown in a Class A playoff game.

Last week it was a sleeping Bear that woke up against the Montana State University-Northern Lights. On Saturday, it was a sleeping Dawg.

Saturday in Dillon, the Lights saw the No. 24 Montana Western Bulldogs snap their two-game Frontier Conference losing streak with a resounding 59-13 win at Vigilante Field. The defeat in Dillon dropped the Lights to 0-7 in the Frontier and 1-7 overall, while Western improved to 5-2.
