Job Service-Havre offers five-part series helping people find, get jobs

Among its other assistance, Job Service-Havre offers a five-part series of free workshops in a weekly rotation throughout the year aimed at help people find, apply for and start a job.

The workshops — such as this week’s, “Success on the Job — are held from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays.

“(In) career planning we are working really hard with our seeker customers to help them come up with a plan, not just I need a job, but what do you want to do, what have you done, what skills are transferable, and so it’s not just come in and look for jobs,” Job Service-Havre manager Carol Lamey said.
