Havre High's Britton Paulson shoots during a junior varsity game between the Blue Ponies and Laurel Locomotives last Friday at the HHS gymnasium. A reminder to all area coaches and athletic directors, have your box scores published in Tuesday's Hi-Line boys and girls roundups each week, all information must be sent to the Havre Daily News by Sunday evening.
It was a busy second weekend of high school girls basketball on the Hi-Line.
Many area teams opened their new seasons at preseason tournaments across Montana and on the Hi-Line.
At the Dutton-Brady Tournament, held Friday and Saturday, the North Star Knights started the season by going 2-0. Friday night, North Star beat the Augusta Elks 55-50 in an exciting game, while the Knights throttled the host Dutton-Brady Diamondbacks 54-10 Saturday.
The Big Sandy Pioneers were also in Dutton for the tournament, and they played the same two teams the Knights did. Friday night, the Pioneers beat the Diam...
