Havre Police Department

A First Street caller at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday reported the theft of a cellphone.

Someone called in a complaint at a First Street West business at 1:06 p.m. Tuesday.

A caller on Second Street reported Tuesday at 7:43 p.m. that their house had been broken into while the caller was in jail.

--

Leslie Ann Felton of Great Falls, 46, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, false reports to law enforcement, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and disorderly conduct, after a Wilson Avenue caller reported a domestic disturbance at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday.

Jeremy Owen Walker of Havre, 33, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no contact order, after a Third Street caller Tuesday at 9:31 p.m. reported a man who shouldn't be there in a residence.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Someone stopped at Hill County Detention Center at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday to report a possible child abuse.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a Tuesday 8:48 a.m. report of a gas leak on the 200 Block of Seventh Street. NorthWestern Energy was called en route. The gas smell was coming from an unlit pilot light.

At a second call about a gas leak Tuesday at 10:48 a.m. on the 1700 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West, neither firefighters nor the NorthWestern crew could detect a leak, but NorthWestern's crew was left on site investigating.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, two female 9-month-old kittens, four male cats, three female cats, one female 18-week-old kitten and one male 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, a male American Eskimo dog, two female mix-breed 6-month-old puppies, one male mix-breed 10-month-old puppy, one female Labrador retriever dog and one male mix-breed 8-month-old puppy.
