Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 10:46 a.m. to ask officers about fake money.


An arrest was made after someone reported Monday at 4:03 p.m. that a woman was passed out in the middle of Pepin Park. No details on the charges were provided.


Clarrissa Lynn Sanchez of Havre, 33, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a caller reported a vehicle headed north on Wilson Avenue from 11th Street was hitting the curb and crossing into the other land of traffic.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Kim Ann Pennington of Havre, 54, and Cathlyn Enox of Havre, 68, were each issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported shoplifters at 6:16 p.m. Friday.


Salvador Campos Rivera of Havre, 39, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Seventh Avenue North at 2:12 p.m. Monday.


Deputies investigated and incident reported at the emergency room at 3:15 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls during the 24-hour reporting period.


Firefighters responded to two gas smell calls at multi-family dwellings, one at 2:31 p.m. on the 600 Block of 12th Street and the other at 5:33 p.m. on the 700 Block of Fifth Avenue. At both calls no gas smell was detected and NorthWestern Energy also responded.

Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department

An eight-firefighter crew with five fire units responded to a report that a combine had caught fire 9 miles south of Havre, near Beaver Creek Reservoir. The fire was contained to the combine, which was a total loss. The call, chief Josh Bebee said, came at about 5 p.m. and the crew had the fire out by 7:30 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 6-month-old kittens, one 11-week-old kitten, four 5-week-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, three male cats, two female cats and one male 17-week-old kitten.


The shelter also held three female and one male 15-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 17-week-old mixed breed puppy, a male Akita dog, a male Australian shepherd-Chihuahua dog and a male mixed-breed dog.
