Havre Police Department

A First Street caller reported Tuesday at 6:59 a.m. hitting a deer near Seventh Avenue.

A two-vehicle crash was reported at 10th Street and Sixth Avenue Tuesday at 7:55 a.m.

--

Tuesday at 9:11 a.m., a caller reported tires had been slashed on Lincoln Avenue.

--

Larae Ann Sunchild of Havre, 39, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after Second Street caller asked officers to check on a woman who was laying on some steps at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A hit-and-run vehicle crash was reported Tuesday at 2:54 p.m. at a First Street West business.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash reported Tuesday at 3:48 p.m. on First Street.

Three girls, ages 14, 12 and 10, were each issued a summons on juvenile curfew violation after an officer stopped to investigate a group of kids at 12:54 a.m. on Third Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Thomas Lawrence Newman of Chinook, 31, was issued a summons on charges of operating a vehicle without valid registration and driving without vehicle insurance, during a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 87 Tuesday at 1:33 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats and seven kittens all of unknown gender, two female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, three male cats and one male 20-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three male and two female mixed-breed 16-week-old puppies, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Akita dog and a male 12-week-old mixed-breed puppy.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, to Jennifer Heilman and Justin O'Neil of Glendive.
