Havre High's Josh Warp places fifth at State A Golf in Butte
Havre High senior Josh Warp poses for a photo Friday evening at the Butte Country Club after taking fifth place at the Class A state tournament last week. Warp shot rounds of 80-77 to rocket up the leaderboard, as the HHS boys placed eighth and the Havre High girls finished ninth.
Once upon a time, few people, if anybody associated with high school sports in Montana thought that the fall season would last even long enough to see state golf champions crowned. But the naysayers turned out to be wrong as the Class A state tournament took place last Thursday and Friday at the Butte Country Club.
