State COVID-19 response update, Oct. 22, 2020

Hill County reported another COVID-19-related death Wednesday evening.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today's 10 a.m. update was 25,640 with 932 new cases.

The number of hospitalizations, including people hospitalized before being tested, was 1.091 with 353 active hospitalizations. The number of tests completed was 452,846 with 4,852 new tests listed this morning. The number of deaths was 278. The number of recoveries was 16,266 and the number of active cases was 9,096.

Local cases by county:

Hill: 29 new cases, 649 total, 269 active, 12 active hospitalizations, 362 recovered, 18 deaths

Liberty: No new cases, 28 total, 2 active, 26 recovered

Blaine: 10 new cases, 252 total, 140 active, 9 active hospitalizations, 109 recovered, 3 deaths

Chouteau: 11 new cases, 79 total, 32 active, 47 recovered

Rocky Boy - Also included in Hill or Chouteau county numbers - 26 new cases, 150 active on the reservation, 4 active hospitalizations, 158 recovered
