The Veterans Honor Guard performs a three-volley salute during the Veterans Day ceremonies at VFW Post 497 Veterans Memorial in Havre.
Local residents braved the cold to honor those who served the country at a Veterans Day ceremony in Town Square Wednesday.
The ceremony started with an opening prayer from the chaplain followed by the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner. The Veterans Honor Guard provided a three-volley salute and taps was played.
The 15-minute ceremony closed with a prayer and attendees quickly dispersed out of the cold.
An indoor meal and presentations were not held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic....
