Havre Police Department

A caller on Fourth Avenue asked Monday at 9:08 a.m. to speak with an officer about suspicious activity.

Officers assisting another agency at 11:56 a.m. Monday investigated suspicious activity on a work phone.

--

A vehicle crash was reported Monday at 3:20 p.m. by a Third Avenue business.

--

A Sixth Street caller reported at 5:11 p.m. Monday that a vehicle was stolen.

--

At 7:05 p.m. Monday, officers investigated an incident in which a man threw items at an employee at a First Street West business and the caller wanted to press charges.

Travis Dillon Granger of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, violation of a no-contact order and violations of conditions of release and on a Justice or City court warrant after a Fifth Street caller reported at 8:14 p.m. Monday that a man had assaulted another man and spit on him.

Raven Ray Wolfgang Lanier of Havre, 23, was issued a summons on a criminal mischief/vandalism charge after a 10th Avenue caller reported at 8:40 p.m. Monday that a car had been damaged and the front door to a residence kicked in.

Lance Kyle Timblin of Sandpoint, Idaho, 32, was arrested on charges of trespass to property after a caller at a First Street business reported a complaint about a transient at 1:27 a.m. this morning and again at 2:26 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Monday at 8:24 p.m., deputies initiated investigation of a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Monday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to an alarm on the 100 Block of 34th Avenue West. The alarm was a false alarm and was reset just prior to the fire crew arriving.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, three female cats, four male cats, one female and three male 9-month-old kittens and two female 20-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, a male 10-week-old shepherd puppy, a male 22-week-old border collie puppy, a male 11-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female mixed breed dog, a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 21-week-old shepherd puppy.
