Field Soosloff named Frontier All-Conference for MSU-N men's XC team

It’s been an exciting month for the Montana State University-Northern men’s cross country team. And the hits keep on coming.

Last week, Northern junior Field Soosloff was named Frontier Men’s All-Conference for the 2020-21 season. The top 10 runners at the Frontier Conference Championships received all-conference.

Soosloff recently placed third at the Frontier Championships, which were held at Prairie Farms Golf Course earlier this month. The third-year runner will likely earn an at-large berth to the NAIA national championships, which were moved from November to April due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Soosloff was also the Northern Men’s recipient of the Champions of Character award, while Grace Schwenk received the honor for the Northern women.

Again, it’s been an exciting time for the Lights, who took third place in the Frontier Championships earlier this month, then, two weeks ago, cracked the NAIA Top 25 for the first time in the six-year history of the program.
