With local numbers of new confirmed and active cases of COVID-19 dropping, health department officials are thanking local residents and urging them to "keep it up" with following recommendations like wearing masks and social distancing to prevent another surge in new cases and deaths.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 70,133 with 747 new cases, 17,294 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 490. The number of deaths was 771.

Blaine County reported Tuesday evening no new cases, 553 total, 35 active, 1 active hospitalizations, 20 deaths

Hill County reported Tuesday evening 12 new cases, 1,445 total, 154 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 32 deaths

Rocky Boy — reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 13 new cases for Monday and Tuesday, other totals not listed as a new contact tracing system was being implemented

Fort Belknap, reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 334 total, 11 active, 1 active hospitalizations, 10 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 99 total, 14 active, 1 death

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 303 total, 27 active, 3 deaths
