Northern spikers drop two at Rocky Mountain

The road has not been kind to the Montana State University-Northern volleyball team, as the Skylights have reached the halfway point in the 2021 spring season. And this past weekend, Northern was sept by first-place Rocky Mountain College.

Friday night in Billings, the Skylights fell by scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-17 as Rocky tallied 45 kills on 41 assists in an efficient night. The Skylights did hit well in the second game, and overall, they did have 36 kills, including 10 by Alana Graves and nine from Rylee Burmester. Shania Neubauer led the way on defense with 13 digs.
