State and local COVID-19 update, March 17, 2021

Editor’s note: Data from Monday’s update was listed in Tuesday’s print edition of Havre Daily News, which misreported the total for Blaine County, which had two new cases listed on the Tuesday state update, and the state totals, which included 422 new cases.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 102,484 with 143 new cases, 941 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 58. The number of deaths was 1,396.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified from Friday through Tuesday of 10 new cases, 710 total, 15 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 2 new cases, 1,927 total, 5 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 41 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center reported march 11, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, total deaths not listed.

Fort Belknap, reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 429 total, 10 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Phillips County Health Department reported Tuesday evening no new cases, 517 total, 11 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 16 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 493 total, none active, 5 deaths.
