Pony thinclads have another good day on the track

Havre High's Tamera O'Leary runs the hurdles during last Thursday's Glasgow Invitational. The Blue Ponies have a busy home week ahead with the Cal Wearley Wednesday and Lions Havre Invite Saturday.

After finishing second in both boys and girls at the Cut Bank Invitational on March 27 to start the season, the Havre track and field teams looked to keep their momentum going at the Glasgow Meet this past Thursday. And again, the Blue Ponies came out strong as they finished in second on both the boys and girls teams in their second straight meet to start the season.

"A lot of students performed really well, especially a number of them that was their first track meet that they were able to attend," HHS head coach Ryan Gatch said. "A lot of fun, a lot of smiles."
