State and local COVID-19 update, April 26, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and

supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 108,111 with 16 new cases, 965 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 48. The number of deaths was 1,563. The site advises that information is highly likely to change based on further public health investigation.

Blaine County, reported on the state map update this morning, had no new cases, 731 total, 2 active. The Blaine County Health Department reports 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department made its last report Friday, reporting no new cases, 1,955 total, 6 active, 1 active hospitalizations, 44 deaths.

Rocky Boy, reported April 2, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers — no new cases, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, deaths not listed. It previously reported it would not list numbers unless they change.

Fort Belknap, last reported April 21, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 430 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 498 total, 1 active, 6 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
