Havre Police Department

Stephanie Rita Small of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a charge of criminal contempt related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at the police station 8 a.m. Monday. Small was arrested at 8 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 38, was issued a summons on charges of disorderly conduct, assault and trespass to property after a Second Street caller reported Monday at 8:56 a.m. that an unknown man had walked into the house.

A vehicle crash was reported at the police station Monday at 12:01 p.m.

Chad Allen Wagner of Havre, 25, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge, and Jona Jo Bear of Havre, 31, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a First Street West business reported shoplifters Monday at 1:42 p.m.

A Third Avenue caller reported at 9:07 p.m. Monday seeing a hit and run crash involving a neighbor's vehicle.

Leon James Houle of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on charges of open container, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing a peace officer or other pubic servant and theft after a Second Street West caller yelled requests to dispatch Monday at 10:55 p.m. to have officers remove someone from the house. Officers found and arrested Houle at 11:23 p.m. on Second Street West.

Two 14-year-olds were issued summonses, each on charges of driving without a driver's license failure to carry or produce proof of vehicle insurance and juvenile curfew violation, after an officer stopped to check a vehicle behind a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called Monday at 4:03 p.m. to assist with a fertilizer truck stuck at Rail Street and Central Avenue in Kremlin.

Morissa Lee Nagel of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 6:50 p.m. at the detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday and one early this morning.

Firefighters and an ambulance crew responded to a motor vehicle crash on the 300 Block of Fifth Avenue at 12:03 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 4-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held a male Dachshund dog, two female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a female collie dog, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 17-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female Staffordshire bull terrier dog.
