Havre High students meet with Montana U.S. senators

Some Havre High students are in Washington this week participating in a CloseUp visit to the nation's capital, and met with the state's U.S. senators this week.

The office of Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., said he met with the students Wednesday and talked to them about the importance of supporting Made in Montana energy and dealing with inflation. The students also went with the senator to the United States Senate floor and got a tour of the U.S. Capitol.

"It was great to show Havre High students around the U.S. Capitol today," Daines said "They all have bright futures ahead of them."
