Obituary - Georgiana Peggy Roasting Stick

Georgiana Peggy Roasting Stick, No-To-Kweo-Sahs-Kah-On (Old Woman’s Cane), a name given to her by Chief Rocky Boy’s brother, Mah-Ki-Si-T, 87, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Thursday, October 21, 2021. 

Wake services began at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, and continued until her funeral service, which began at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, all at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with Earl Arkinson officiating. Burial was to follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.
