State and local COVID-19 update, Dec. 22, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 253 new cases, 1,639 active cases, 125 hospitalizations and 2,890 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 195,417 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that 1 new case was reported and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 6 active cases in the county and 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that it was notified of 1 new case and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 3 active cases in the county. The county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Tuesday 1 new case and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 4 active cases and 1,210 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Tuesday 1 new case and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 3 active cases and 812 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 13 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, none active, 268 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new cases, 2 active, 789 total cases, 9 deaths.
