State and local COVID-19 update, Dec. 30, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 666 new cases, 2,741 active cases, 123 hospitalizations and 2,906 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 197,724 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 5 new cases were reported and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 8 active cases in the county and 3,547 total cases. Hill County has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that it was notified of no new cases and no one met the criteria to be considered recovered with 1 active case in the county and 1,538 total cases. The county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, latest data not available.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, latest data not available.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, none active, 268 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 11 active, 799 total cases, 9 deaths.
