State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 31, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 3,426 new cases, 18,607 active cases, 310 hospitalizations and 300 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 242,180 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Friday that 25 new cases were reported and 82 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 192 active cases in the county, no active hospitalizations, 4,353 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Friday that it was notified of 11 new cases and 39 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 175 active cases in the county 3 active hospitalizations, 2,008 total cases and the county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Friday 8 new cases, 76 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 77 active cases, no active hospitalizations and 1,384 total cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Friday 7 new cases and 26 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 98 active cases, 2 active hospitalizations, 1,089 total cases and 13 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 27 active, 536 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 10 active, 890 total cases, 12 deaths.
