Havre Police Department

Warren Paul Small Jr. of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a First Street caller reported Tuesday at 10:23 a.m. seeing a man and woman fighting on the sidewalk and then in the street.

A sexual or violent offenders registry violation was reported Tuesday at 2:54 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jourden Jensen St. Marks or Box Elder, 32, was arrested on a charge of violation of a protective order after a complaint was made Tuesday at 11:37 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded Tuesday to three calls that required no action: At 5:23 p.m. on the 800 Block of Fourth Street where cooking smoke triggered a fire alarm, at 8:07 p.m. someone at a 13th Street facility pulled the fire alarm, which had to be reset, and at 8:10 p.m. a report of downed power lines on the 10 Block of 11th Street turned out to be cable lines and the appropriate company was notified.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 10-month-old kittens of unknown gender, two male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held a male 8-month-old mixed breed puppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 9-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a male 10-month-old corgi puppy, a female 6-month-old shar pei puppy and a female mixed-breed dog. A male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy was being held in foster care.
