As the Havre Northstars get going at the state tournament this week in Belgrade, it is important to recognize the performances of their players that got them there. This past weekend at the North A District tournament, the all-state and all-conference teams for the summer were released and several Northstars were recognized for their performances this season.

With eight teams in the North District spread across both Montana and Alberta, the all-conference teams were divided by countries. In his 54.2 innings pitched, he recorded 43 strikeouts and 21 walks.

On the American all-conference team, Eli Cloninger was named the all-conference catcher for the season. At the plate, he led the team with a .529 on-base percentage and he was tied for first on the team with a .414 batting average. Along with his 35 RBIs this season, Cloninger led the Northstars with 87 runs scored this season.

For his season, Havre senior Theron Peterson was named an all-conference infielder. Peterson was third on the team with a .395 batting average and a .510 on-base percentage. The Northstars were second in the North A with four players named to the all-conference team. The Vauxhall Spurs also had four players named all-conference this season. The North A District champion Lewistown Redbirds led the pack with five all-conference selections and two all-state players in Nolan Fry and Luke Clinton.
