Havre Police Department

Tayla Wren Overlie of Havre, 34, and Cameron Michael Boggs Duran of Havre, 21, were each arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, both served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 8:36 a.m.

A vehicle crash was reported on Cowan Drive at 9:44 a.m. Friday.

A two-vehicle crash at Fourth Avenue and Fifth Street was reported at 11:58 a.m. Friday.

Bertha Rose Garrett of Thompson Falls, 36, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a Havre caller asked Friday at 5:36 p.m. for assistance.

Syler Sharrell Burcham of Big Sandy, 35, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle after a caller on First Street reported Friday at 7:46 p.m. that a semitractor-trailer sideswiped some vehicles and drove away.

A caller on Montana State University-Northern campus reported Friday at 8:01 p.m. that a vehicle got hit by a bus which then drove away.

Officers investigated a suspicious 911 call received Saturday at 12:52 a.m.

Officers investigated Saturday at 12:56 a.m. a vehicle parked in the middle of the street at Ninth Avenue and Seventh Street.

A Smithville Road caller reported at 5:21 a.m. Saturday that a random man had been in their home.

A vehicle crash involving two pickup trucks was reported on First Street at 10:54 a.m. Saturday.

A vehicle crash at South Dell Drive and Beaver Creek Boulevard was reported at 12:40 p.m. Saturday.

Veronica Lynn Huntley of Havre, 28, was arrested on an assault charge after a fight between two women was reported Saturday at 4:50 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest.

Denella Lee Longfox of Havre, 46, was arrested on charges of DUI, failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle, failure to give notice of an accident, careless driving and failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance after a caller on First Avenue reported Saturday at 9:34 p.m. witnessing a hit and run crash and then officers initiated investigation of suspicious activity at 10:08 p.m. on Third Avenue. And in a separate investigation made at 2:48 a.m. Sunday of a vehicle crash on First Avenue, Longfox was arrested on charges of reckless driving, failure to give notice of an accident and failure to notify owner of damage to property.

A Sunday 2:39 a.m. caller reported a vehicle hit a mailbox on Lincoln Avenue.

A vehicle crash involving a Subaru and a Dodge pickup with a plow was reported on Fourth Street at 9:48 a.m. Sunday.

--

Marvin Daniel Flying of Havre, 56, was arrested on a charge of false reports to law enforcement at 3:57 a.m. today on First Street.

--

Animal Control was called on three reports of dogs left out in the cold and one dog running loose, as well as one injured deer in town.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jason Jay Chiefstick of Box Elder, 52, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Sheriff's Office Friday at 11:22 a.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at 12:13 p.m. Friday on County Road 405 South.

Jordan G.L. Gardipee of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Friday at 7:21 p.m. that someone had walked out of the business with merchandise.

Raymond Joseph Azure of Box Elder, 21, was arrested on six Justice or City court warrants, and Tyrell Joseph Cantrell, 18, and Elkin Jackson Bigknife, 19, both of Box Elder, were each issued a summons on a minor in possession charge after a juvenile status offense was reported in Box Elder Sunday at 5:54 a.m.

Deputies investigated a Sunday 4:19 p.m. report of an assault in a domestic disturbance on Eighth Avenue North.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Friday, two calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to two calls, the first Friday at 11:59 p.m. on false alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West and the other a Sunday 4:26 a.m. good intent investigation on 23rd Street.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, one female kitten, one female cat, one male kitten and two male cats.

The shelter also held four mixed-breed puppies of varying ages, a male and a female mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week-old border collie puppy and a male German shepherd. Additionally, a male dog and a male 9-month-old puppy, both mixed-breed, were being fostered.
