Havre Police Department

Ryan Steven Ferguson of Chinook, 33, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer initiated investigation of a man on First Street Northeast Friday at noon.

A Friday 7:18 p.m. call about vehicles getting stuck on the emergency snow route was referred to public works.

Jace Riley Berkram of Cut Bank, 25, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence refused to test, expired vehicle registration, failure to stop or remain at a vehicle crash, failure to give notice of a vehicle crash and no vehicle insurance after a Seventh Avenue caller reported a vehicle crash at 4:25 a.m. Sunday.

Clifford Black Elk of Havre, 31, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a First Street business asked for assistance removing a trespasser Sunday at 7:45 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at Box Elder establishment Friday at 1:04 p.m.

Leslie Ann Felton of Havre, 50, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a Justice or City court warrant, both served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Brett Warren Landon of Havre, 56, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon, assault by coercion, intimidation or threat, and assault on a peace officer or judicial officer after an assault was reported Saturday at 8:35 a.m. at the detention center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Sunday, one accompanying a fire crew to the 1000 Block of Second Street North at 9:57 a.m. for a carbon monoxide report, but no CO was detected.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, six male cats and five female cats. One cat was also being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held nine mixed-breed dogs, a male 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull terrier, five 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies and six 7-week-old mixed breed puppies. Additionally, five 5-week-old Australian shepherd puppies, a male mixed-breed dog and a female Australian shepherd dog were being housed off-site.
