Havre Police Department

A caller at St. Jude's Catholic School reported at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday that a break-in had occurred during the night.

Gabriel Evan Jordan of Havre, 25, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after officers were asked Wednesday at 10:25 a.m. to assist probation and parole on Third Avenue.

A caller with the Child Abuse Hotline made a report to Havre police Wednesday at 2:07 p.m.

A protection order violation was reported Wednesday at 7:50 p.m. at the police station.

Joshua Kay Blatter of Havre, 33, was arrested on charges of failure to give notice of an accident, two counts of negligent endangerment, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and failure to notify owner of damage to property after callers at 10th Street and Second Avenue reported that someone had hit a stop sign at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday.

A Sixth Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 8:17 p.m. that a bike had been stolen in the past few days.

Someone stopped at the police station at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday asking to speak with an officer about a blackmail incident.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a complaint reported Wednesday at 10:43 a.m. by a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northeast business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Wednesday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters accompanied by an ambulance crew responded to a gas gas leak reported on Second Street West at 11:17 a.m. Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 8-week-old kitten of unknown gender, seven male cats, four female cats and one male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held nine mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week old mixed breed puppy, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy. Additionally, four 10-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
