Local News - Veterans Affairs conducting outreach

Veteran service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting the following locations to meet with veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. Veterans interested in applying for benefits should bring a copy of your their discharge paperwork DD214 with them.

Tuesday, Aug. 1 

Babb, 1-3 p.m., Babb Fire Hall

Wednesday Aug. 2 

Cut Bank, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Glacier County Courthouse Annex RM 19 

Shelby, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Shelby Court House Lower Level 

Tuesday Aug. 8

Glasgow, 1-4 p.m., Glasgow VA Clinic  

Wednesday Aug. 9 

Malta, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Malta City Hall 

 

Tuesday Aug. 15 

Browning, 1-4 p.m.  Blackfeet Veteran Center

Wednesday Aug. 16 

Cut Bank, 8:30-10:30 a.m.  Glacier County Courthouse Annex RM 19 

Shelby, 12:30–2:30 p.m. Shelby Court House Lower Level.

Veterans and family members who are unable to meet with a veteran service officer at a specified location should call 406-265-4225 to make other meeting arrangements.  

If bad weather exists on days of travel, people can stay tuned to the local radio stations for updated information regarding the outreach schedule.
