HHS Golf finish high in weekend tournaments

Over the weekend, the Havre High golf teams continued the season with several more tournaments.

At the Havre Invitational this past Thursday, the HHS girls team finished first with a team score of 394. Shea Reber finished first with a score of 87. Brenna Hanson finished third with a score of 98 and Cali Pyrak took third with a score of 98. Callie Bebee recorded a score of 111 and Tierra Parker posted a score of 112.

At the Havre Invitational, the HHS boys team recorded a team score of 338. Matt Huse finished second with a score of 78. Quinn Elliot recorded a score of 84 and Carter Spangler posted a score of 87. Callen Stoner posted a score of 89 and Reid Kato recorded a score of 101.

The Blue Ponies continued the weekend with the Browning Invitational in Shelby Friday. The HHS girls team finished second with a team score of 403. Reber finished fourth with a score of 90 and Hanson took eighth with a score of 99. Parker posted a score of 100 to take ninth. Pyrak recorded a score of 114 and Bebee posted a score of 125.

In Shelby, the HHS boys team posted a team score of 363 to finish third in the tournament. Huse finished 11th in the tournament with a score of 85. Spangler posted a score of 90 while both Stoner and Elliot recorded a score of 94. Kato finished the tournament with a score of 101.

The HHS golf teams will continue the season with upcoming tournaments such as the Jawbone Match Play in Harlowton and the Browning Invitational in East Glacier.
