The Havre High golf teams were ready to battle for Eastern A supremacy this past week in Sidney. But, the Blue Ponies ran into a tough field and a tough golf course.
Both Havre High teams finished in sixth place at last Friday's Eastern A Divisional Tournament, which was held at the Sidney Country Club.
The HHS boys placed sixth, and qualified three boys for this week's state tourney, led by an All-Conference 85 from senior Shane Patacsil. This marks the second straight year in which Patacsil qualified for state, while the same went for fellow Reid Kato, who shot a 90 to earn his way into...
