Citizens' Law School returns with Zoom programs

Press release

Citizens’ Law School will be back for a new season of programming in October. Citizens’ Law School is a series of free educational programs developed by the State Bar of Montana’s Law Related Education Committee to provide information on a variety of topics related to the law in Montana to members of the public.

Havre Daily News received a release Wednesday afternoon that included announcing the first session, “AI and the Law,” would be held Wednesday at 6:30.

Recordings of sessions will be posted on the program website at https://www.montanabar.org/CLE-Events/Citizens-Law-School as they become available.

The hourlong programs are scheduled for Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom webinar. Each program will be presented by a Montana judge or attorney with expertise in the area of law being discussed.

People must register for the webinars in advance by clicking the Zoom links at https://www.montanabar.org/CLE-Events/Citizens-Law-School . Each presentation is limited to the first 500 to join.

These programs are geared to the public, not attorneys, and they do not have Continuing Legal Education credits associated with them.
