Havre Police Department

A summons was issued to a 12-year-old on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a 7:54 a.m. Thursday caller at Havre Middle School reported a juvenile with a vape device.

A vehicle crash was reported on Eighth Street Thursday at 7:59 a.m.

Jace Collin Shambo of Hays, 24, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and on a Justice or City court warrant served at 11:17 a.m. Thursday on 18th Street.

Codie Darwin Nalder of Havre, 29, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served on Seventh Avenue at 12:15 p.m. Thursday.

A 13th Street West caller reported vandalism to a vehicle Thursday at 12:40 p.m.

——

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller on Second Avenue reported an aggressive dog at 2:51 p.m. Thursday.

A Third Street caller reported Thursday at 3:38 p.m. that window had been smashed out.

Celestine Rose Plante of Havre, 42, was arrested on eight Justice or City court warrants served after a domestic disturbance was reported on Third Street Thursday at 3:57 p.m.

Rochelle Lakoda Pease of Box Elder, 22, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container after a Thursday 10:01 p.m. caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported a woman laying on the side of the road.

Nikolas John Keller of Havre, 25, was arrested on a charge of strangulation of a partner or family member after calling Thursday at 11:01 p.m. to report that a family member had pointed a gun at him.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Josh Blake Lamere of Havre, 33, was arrested at Hill County Detention Center, where Lamere has been held since Jan. 5, on a state District Court warrant served Thursday at 9:19 a.m. on behalf of Cascade County officials.

Shawn Michael Arbuckle of Great Falls, 46, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Thursday at 12:31 p.m.

Deputies assisted Child Protective Services at the sheriff’s office at 4:56 p.m. Thursday.

——

Deputies investigated a complaint made Thursday at 11:18 p.m. on Main Street East in Box Elder.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held four cats all of unknown gender, five male cats, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female cat and a 6-month-old female kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 10 mixed-breed puppies between 2 weeks and 24 weeks old, four female mixed-breed dogs and one male mixed-breed dog. Additionally, two 20-week-old puppies and one 7-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, to Kyla Kemp and Mattius Rischard of Havre.
