Havre Police Department

A Seventh Street caller reported Wednesday at 8:05 a.m. that the back window of their vehicle had been broken out.

Officers provided a funeral escort Wednesday at 11:33 a.m.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after three trespassers were reported at a First Street business at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday.

A Fourth Avenue caller asked Wednesday at 1:29 p.m. for animal control to pick up a stray puppy.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 7:31 p.m. Wednesday report of eight juveniles running around a First Street business.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Wednesday 8:41 p.m. caller reported a woman was trespassing at a First Avenue residence.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business asked at 2:07 a.m. today to speak with an officer.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies provided assistance at a 1:22 p.m. Wednesday call in Havre.

Someone stopped at the sheriff's office Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. to report a theft, forgery or fraud and the report was referred to another law enforcement agency.

A caller reported at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday that it looked like someone was trying to steal something at the Box Elder post officer, but the allegation was unfounded.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two cats and six kittens all of unknown gender, four male cats, three female cats and a male 21-week-old kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held seven mixed-breed puppies between 4 weeks and 6 months old, four female dogs and two male dogs. Additionally, five 5-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
