Shore's Floral donates to Serving of Hope medical fundraiser

A local florist made a flowery donation to a local fundraiser to help defray expenses for people who have to travel for a serious medical condition.

Tomi Simonson, owner of Shores Floral in Chinook, held a Daffodil Fundraiser and presented a $7,015 check for the Serving of Hope fundraiser, which took over from the Men Who Cook for Women Who Wine fundraiser that was held to raise money for the Northern Montana Sletten Cancer Center.

Since Serving of Hope started in 2009, it has provided $316,000 to 677 patients to help with their expenses, Northern Montana Health Care reports.
