Jean was born in Browning, Mont., to John and Phyllis (Salois) McGillis. She was raised in the East Glacier/Summit area until she met and married Gary Walters. The couple moved to Minnesota, and their union was blessed with three children. They later divorced, and Jean moved back to Montana.     NEW YORK (AP) — The Dow Jones industrial average surged 286 points, its best day this year. The Havre High boys and girls tennis teams were hoping to get a lot of court time and strong competition at this weekend's Helena Invitational, and that's exactly what the Blue Ponies got. Threatening skies held off for two days of what Blue Pony head coach George Ferguson said is the best high school tennis tournament in Montana, and his teams did quite well. Delaney was named interim coach last Friday, a day after former coach Robin Pflugrad was relieved of his duties and informed that his contract would not be renewed.     VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — A Navy jet with two aviators aboard crashed Friday into an apartment building in Virginia Beach, according to the Navy and media reports.
